It’s a Walnut/Silver AM/FM retro tuner that brings clarity to many of the weakest stations. This is part of a hi-fi or stereo system, and is the tuner alone – meaning that you will need to add an amplifier and speakers in order to listen to it. The REALISTIC TM-1001 is a solid-state high-sensitivity AM-FM Stereo Tuner. The four-gang FM front-end section utilizes a state-of-the-art device, called a “dual-gate Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor”. Engineers shorten this mouthful to MOSFET (or IGFET for “insulated gate” FET).
