Actual MeasurementsI show this on my B32 size mannequin and I did not clip it to fit.Bust 44 inches. Waist 36 inches Hips are full Total length 41 inches Outside shoulder to waist 16 inches Across the back shoulders 16.5 inches To make sure something will fit, take measurements from a piece of clothing that fits you well and use those measurements to compare. If you use your personal actual measurements, you should always figure needing two inches extra for breathing room. Label- No label present. It is factory made and has its original factory sewn hem. Closes with side metal zipper. This does perplex me a little. You mostly see side metal zippers in the 40s and just a little into the 50s. But, it is not out of the realm of possibility that the manufacturer used a side metal zipper in the late 50s/early 60s. Fabric is a smooth and sleek nylon. Medium- light weight. This dress is unlined. ConditionNo stains, holes, or tears. it has been previously washed and worn, so it shows gentle signs of wear. It does not have a belt. The under arms are clean. The original pleats are still crisp. It has its original hem and I do not see any signs of alterations. What Diane Likes About This Dress This dress is a bit of a cusper. The 1950s and the first half of the 1960s were very similar. This dress has 50s design, with 60s fabric. I like the technology advancement of nylon. It is cool and crisp. It keeps it colors bright through wash and wear. I like the soft watercolor blue and green color combination. The flowers are a energetic and gestural kind of drawing that give a nod to the abstract movement. Not every dress has to be a showstopper.
